E-E-A-T

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness. It contributes 20% to the GEO score.

What is assessed?

A configured AI model evaluates selected content samples and available page signals in four areas:

  • Experience: Are practical knowledge, original observations or traceable use cases visible?
  • Expertise: Are topics explained precisely, thoroughly and with professional depth?
  • Authoritativeness: Are authors, the organization and their topical responsibility clear?
  • Trustworthiness: Are claims transparent, verifiable, current and supported by suitable sources?

Each area receives a value from 0 to 100. The overall value is derived from these four areas.

How to improve the score

  1. Identify responsible authors and explain their qualifications and expertise.
  2. Support important claims with reliable and current sources.
  3. Demonstrate first-hand experience through examples, processes or case studies.
  4. Make publisher, contact details, dates and responsibility transparent.
  5. Clearly distinguish facts, assessments and promotional statements.

Assessment limits

E-E-A-T is an AI-assisted assessment, not a formal certification. The model can only evaluate the content samples and signals provided by the audit. If no AI provider is configured or AI analysis is disabled in the profile, the criterion is shown as not assessed and does not count as zero in the overall score.
